The Denver Health Paramedic Division offers a wide range of educational opportunities, from initial EMT training to advanced courses for experienced healthcare providers. The Denver Paramedic Division, in conjunction with the Community College of Denver, offers EMT-Basic classes starting several times throughout the year. More information is available here.

The Denver Health Paramedic School is one of the region’s best. Students who are accepted into this rigorous 12-month program benefit from unique clinical opportunities, and have the opportunity to learn in one of the nation’s most active EMS systems. Colorado BNICE (Biological, Nuclear, Incendiary, Chemical, and Explosives) Training Center, located within the Rocky Mountain Center for Medical Response to Terrorism, Mass Casualties and Epidemics at Denver Health is dedicated to preparing Colorado’s healthcare and emergency personnel for a weapons of mass destruction event.
